Starting Therapy

Well... we've restarted therapy here at New Life Children's Home. There have been several therapists here since the earth quake.
This is girl below is learning how to walk left, right, left. The girl on the left is getting range of motion on her knee. It does not bend like it's supposed to because it was broken.

Below Left: This is Girl N. On left is before therapy she was being one leg up to the other

Above: She is now walking left/right/left/right with her heel not touching the ground. Tony, the Haitian interpreter, helped me with educating her.

The Airforce men were on the campus building well needed shelves for the clinic.

The mango tree we sit under to do therapy.

Mrs. Jones' first grade class at Valley View Elementary sent me a Flat Stanley so they can follow him to Haiti. This is FS at the guest house where I stay.

The children love Flat Stanley... They all took their picture with him. These children are receiving therapy.

This is at the orphanage just across from the guest house. This is Girl C. She lost her leg in the earthquake. I'm working with her so she can get her new prosthetic leg from Hanger next week. It's very exciting for all of us.

These are all children in the orphanage. The little boy in the left has an above the knee amputation and is is also going to the Hanger facility to receive a new leg.

Below: John and child P. John was born and Haiti and helped me communicate with the children. He was wonderful!

Girl L loves to play with my hair every day. I have a new hairstyle everyday from her.
